Wednesday......
Well it was a slow go for me this morning. I got up at six and had to do my blog for yesterday. I know it was a quick one, but I had to get it done. I am bent on getting a daily blog for you the reader, and for me to have everything documented.

At 7, I headed over to the boat and we worked on getting it ready for the morning dives. Breakfast followed and we were ready to go diving.

The first dive site today was Pond View Wall. We left out of the docks into an absolutely calm and beautiful sea. The boat ride was 18 min and we were soon diving into the water that looked like an aquarium. You could easily see the bottom at 35'. We are now seeing seahorses on every dive! Everyone is different, color, size, and even some pregnant males! We only had 8 divers on the morning dive, as most went to the shark dive.

The surface interval was spent on the glass like water at the mooring buoy. We had a nice boat ride to the drop off dive. We came into the docks and removed the empty tanks to have them filled.

Lunch was pork chops, squash salad, and lemon cookies. It sure hit the spot.

Our afternoon dive was to a new site called Tulios Reef. The coral was amazing. We saw five seahorses at this site along with a large school of permit. These are a sought after game fish. They look incredible in the water. Again we did our surface interval at the buoy. The drop off dive followed.  We headed back to the dock to get the boat cleaned for the night.

Dinner was served at 6:30. Alfredo noodles, lasagna, salad, and tiramisu was the fare tonight. I ate my dinner and retired to my room to get the blog done and get to bed early.

Until tomorrow.....

  1. So what do Permit look like? Jack? Bigger/smaller? Just as fast?

Nice to see some new names among the dive sites.
